OK…what am I doing wrong? The shift-D option doesn’t work for me…. Shift-T, good. Shift-B, good. Shift-D…nothing.

There is a way to leave comments from Google Reader! From Zac's tips, you've already downloaded Firefox and installed Greasemonkey. Next, install this script by clicking on the handy "install this script" button on the right of the page. That script will add "preview" to the options in Google Reader -- down at the bottom of the post where the star and tags are found. Click "preview" and you'll see the entire post (also great if only partial feeds are offered!) and can add comments without opening a new window. (Handy trickery via New Media Bytes)

I used to hack together sites using Del.ico.us and a javascript as my CMS.

I haven’t seen any, but then again, I haven’t really looked.

If I want to drop a comment, I press ‘v’ which brings up the page in a new tab, leave my comment and if I care that much, I’ll subscribe to the comment RSS (if available) to keep track of the discussion.

I was wondering about that “reading” tag in Twitter. Thanks for the scripts guide. Nice tips. Do you know of a script that allows you to post comments to blogs directly from the reader, that would be the greatest!
